Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect your name, email address, consent status and the date and time of your signup. We also receive ordinary technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as request and security logs generated by our hosting providers.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information through the waitlist form or by email.

2. How we use your information

We use this information to:

• confirm and manage your place on the PinPals waitlist;
• send launch news, product updates and occasional PinPals marketing that you have agreed to receive;
• respond to questions, privacy requests and support messages;
• operate, protect and improve the website; and
• comply with applicable legal obligations.

Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out before your withdrawal.

3. Email choices

Joining the marketing list requires confirmation by email. Every marketing email will include an unsubscribe option. You can also ask us to stop marketing by emailing privacy@getpinpals.app. Essential replies to a request you send us are not marketing.

4. Who processes your information

We use trusted service providers to operate the website and waitlist. These currently include OpenAI Sites and its underlying hosting and database infrastructure for the website and waitlist records, Brevo for contact management, confirmation emails and marketing communications, and Microsoft 365 for business email.

These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. Information may be processed in countries outside the UAE. Where required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Cookies and analytics

We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on this website. Our hosting infrastructure may use strictly necessary technologies and logs to deliver, protect and diagnose the service. If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising technologies, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by law.

6. How long we keep information

We retain waitlist information while the waitlist is active and for as long as reasonably needed to provide updates, operate PinPals, resolve requests and meet legal obligations. If you unsubscribe, we may retain limited suppression information so that we can honour your choice. You may request deletion at any time.

7. Security

We use reasonable organisational and technical measures intended to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use care when sending information over the internet.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, update or delete your personal information, obtain information about its processing, restrict or object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. You may also have rights relating to data portability and automated processing.

To make a request, email privacy@getpinpals.app. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. Adults only

The website and waitlist are intended for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has submitted information, please contact us so we can remove it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as PinPals develops. We will post the revised version here with a new effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
